WILL I NEED A PERMIT?

Permits are needed when it comes to anything structural or electrical or anything that involves plumbing and heating. Generally if adding a bathroom or kitchen, changing its' position, walls are moved or major changes will be made then yes a permit is required. But we can help you with this.

If you are simply have a basement apartment setup but you would like to modernize it with new appliances, change the cabinets, fixtures and retile the bathroom or change the floor a permit is not required.
